SimCraft Announces Partnership with Racing Talents Oliver and Sebastian Wheldon

Oliver, Susie, and Sebastian Wheldon

Marietta, GA – SimCraft is happy to unveil an exciting partnership with up-and-coming racers Oliver and Sebastian Wheldon.  This collaboration marks a significant milestone as Oliver and Sebastian Wheldon embark on a transformative journey to unlock their full potential on the track, as participants of the SimCraft Academy for Driver Development.

Sebastian Wheldon first experienced a SimCraft simulator in 2022 at the SKUSA SuperNats in Las Vegas, where he clinched victory in a fast lap challenge, showing his exceptional talent and unwavering focus. Now, both Sebastian and his younger brother Oliver, are set to leverage SimCraft’s cutting-edge simulators and unrivaled expertise to elevate their racing prowess to new heights as junior development drivers with Andretti Global.

We're thrilled to be joining SimCraft and excited about the opportunities ahead. The advanced technology and support from the SimCraft team will undoubtedly help us reach new levels in our racing careers.

At SimCraft, we are committed to developing the next generation of racing talent. Partnering with Oliver and Sebastian Wheldon is a testament to our dedication to innovation and excellence in motorsports. The only Indy 500 I attended was in 2011 when their father, Dan Wheldon, won in dramatic fashion.  This partnership is particularly meaningful, as we continue to honor Dan's legacy by supporting his sons' racing careers.  It is my pleasure to welcome Sebastian and Oliver to the SimCraft family.  The dividends from the January installation of their SimCraft are already showing on track.  These two are definitely ones to watch!

Through SimCraft’s immersive driver development training program, the Wheldon brothers will have the opportunity to refine their skills, enhance their racecraft, and gain a competitive edge in the fiercely contested world of racing.  SimCraft and the Wheldon brothers are aligned in their passion for motorsports and an unyielding pursuit of excellence and results on track.

Simulator time is proving to be a critical tool in developing young drivers. Oliver and Sebastian show the same intensity and desire to win as their father and I am confident that this partnership with SimCraft will provide them with top quality equipment and support that will help them to excel in their racing careers.
