For Immediate Release

Kennesaw, GA —  SimCraft, the leader in high-fidelity motion simulation, is proud to announce that its APEX6 Full Motion Racing Simulator has been officially approved for NASCAR Cup Series team use under Section 13.5 (DIL) of the NASCAR rule book. This milestone solidifies SimCraft’s position as a key innovator in motorsport simulation. The first system is to be installed at Legacy Motor Club (Legacy MC), continuing SimCraft’s mission to set the standard for motion simulation at the highest levels of motorsport.

This achievement highlights SimCraft’s dedication to advancing simulation technology to meet the exacting standards of one of the most competitive motorsport organizations in the world. Following NASCAR’s 2023 rule change implementing stricter motion simulator specifications, SimCraft collaborated with NASCAR officials to meet the updated requirements. The APEX6 system is now one of the few officially approved simulators, setting a new benchmark for compliance and performance.

The installation at Legacy MC represents a breakthrough for NASCAR teams seeking unparalleled realism and immersion in driver development, race preparation, and vehicle setup optimization.

Redefining Motion Simulation for NASCAR
The APEX6 is a six degrees of freedom (6DOF) motion platform that replicates vehicle dynamics with unmatched accuracy. Its center-of-mass rotation and independently controlled degrees of freedom allow for precise simulation of roll, pitch, and yaw. Unlike traditional platforms, the APEX6 delivers a physics-first experience, faithfully mimicking the sensations of real-world racing. This commitment to realism makes it a preferred choice for drivers at all levels.

The APEX6’s approval for NASCAR Cup Series team use further cements SimCraft’s leadership in motion simulation technology. By enabling teams to simulate the unique challenges of oval and road course racing with high fidelity, the APEX6 delivers a competitive edge for teams aiming to develop driver performance while simultaneously offering a physics-first approach for setup work.

After experiencing the SimCraft APEX6, I was amazed by its realistic feel and immediately knew I was hooked. I was even left wondering how such authenticity was achieved, given that nothing else I've tried can match the real-world vehicle experience, regardless of price. SimCraft takes driver training and vehicle development to an entirely new level.

Having the APEX6 approved for NASCAR Cup-level use is a huge milestone for SimCraft. The days of anyone having to spend millions on a hi-fidelity DIL sim are over. Our approach to the construction of our systems, and the subsequent costs to build them allow teams running multiple cars to afford multiple systems, eliminating the classic bottleneck for seat time and general access. We are disrupting the existing model of simulators in NASCAR which limits access, requires travel from the shop, and in some cases requires sharing IP with on track competition.

With its precision-engineered motion systems, SimCraft continues to lead the charge in transforming the motorsport simulation landscape.

SimCraft will host private team and driver evaluations in Mooresville, NC, this March. This exclusive event provides teams with a hands-on opportunity to experience the APEX6 system and understand how it is redefining simulation in NASCAR. From enhanced driver development to setup optimization, the APEX6 is quickly becoming an essential tool for success.
